Affordable, safe diving...Paamul Mexico is one hour's drive south of Cancun, and just 10 miles south of Playa del Carmen. To get there, simply take the ONLY highway (Highway 307) from Cancun south toward Tulum . After Playa del Carmen and Xcaret, drive until you see the signs for Paamul. Scuba-Mex Dive Center is at the end of the road at the beach. The highway is well maintained and you can easily get to Paamul by car, taxi or bus. Weather permitting, two dives go out daily. Divers should arrive 30 minutes early. The boat leaves promptly at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.
